I have been busy working on a quilt that I hope to show you soon, but since it's not ready, I thought I would share some random images from this past week.
Izzy has been dressing herself on days that we aren't going anywhere besides the park! Which never seizes to make me smile!
My colored stacks for the Tokyo Map quilt along. I am waiting for one more package to come in the mail and then my collection will be complete.
891 kona cotton white 2 inch squares!! WHEW...that was some serious cutting.
and lastly, my current project all cut up and ready to sew.
I will be burning the midnight oil trying to get this finished by Saturday for a birthday gift.
these piles are pretty just as they are
ReplyDeletePretty pictures. What's in the package you are waiting for? Izzy is oh so stylish!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! I love her style!
ReplyDeleteummmm, THAT package would be mine! If I didn't have two nappers in my house and a packed social schedule you would have it by now! UGH, getting to the post office has been a challenge these last two days! I can't wait to see what you are working on!
ReplyDeleteKudos on the cutting! And, isn't your daughter adorable :)
ReplyDeleteIzzy is so freaking cute! Did you knit her hat? I will have to live vicariously through all of you in the Tokyo quilt along but it does look fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the Hope Valley, and seriously love the TMap squares....even the white ones. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pic of Izzy! Did you and Em ever get all the purples that you needed for the subway map quilt?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics here, even without a quilt!! I adore Izzy's hat. xo
ReplyDeleteNo. No, no no. Don't let Izzy grow up so fast! Next thing you know she'll be 21!
ReplyDeleteLOL -- one day Molly wanted to wear a one piece swimming suit to preschool (which she called "pretty school"). And she had it on backward so that it was quite plunging in front! Of course, she had a hat with her outfit, too. White straw as I remember....
PS -- how's her sewing career going lately?
